The Value Areas team ensures the Center's processes and products meet the needs of a broad spectrum of stakeholders in the research community. We are engaging with researchers, nonprofit research institutions, emerging research institutions (<$50 million in research & development expenditures), and small- to medium-sized businesses. The inclusion of these stakeholders broadens and provides a balanced perspective on research security challenges and resource development. The Value Areas team also seeks to appropriately balance research protections and administrative burden, science and the legislative landscape, open and secure research, and sustainability and wide access.
